A Personal Note from Kevin Antcliff
I know as well as anybody that times are tight for so many people these days. Even my own family has, at times, severely felt the crunch caused by the tough economy. So many families are struggling to keep paying bills, put food on their table, and keep the lights on.
But as bad as it’s been for many of us, I couldn’t imagine being the position of the family that needs our help this morning. As my family cared for my mom, we were fortunate to never have to face the thought of losing a house, falling behind on bills, or not being sure where our next meal would come from. Yet that’s exactly what this family is facing right now.

Calling All Warriors – A Family in Need. An URGENT Call to Action.
This is urgent, everybody. A family that we’ve been talking to for the last several months made it known to a member of our board last night that they are in serious trouble.
Here’s the quick overview:
The husband is a hero. A firefighter who has put his life on the line hundreds of times for others, lost his brothers in devastating fires, and is loved by all who have ever worked with him. He has children – a young daughter in college, and a growing young boy. He has a wife. A fighter who we’re proud to know.

The Summer Blues

I’m still pretty new at this non-profit thing. All of my professional experience lies in the fields of marketing, PR, sports journalism, and retail loss prevention. Trying to build a non-profit and grow it into something that can help hundreds of thousands of people is a little bit of a culture shock for me.
